Peach Season is FINALLY here!
This signifies my favorite time of the year is just around the corner. After 3 months of pretty hot weather, I invite the Fall Season in with open arms. There are many things about the Fall that I love. Two of them are our home-town peaches and pomegranates. I would invite the family and friends to come visit and partake of the fruit of the season. We have a guest bedroom!

POEM: I AM the light.
Some days seem bleak, with nothing more in sight.
Some days it's more difficult to find the light.
There are days you forget why you are here.
Be still. Know that I am still here.
I know you, my dear child who is lost.
I've kept you in my safe-keep box.
Til you're weary enough and need to rest;
Don't give up child; you are blessed.
For don't you forget your purpose here,
Your life is My plan; with Me there is no fear.
Come rest your day in my arms; be still.
The things hard to understand are My will.
You might not know of your work or your worth,
But I've been planning this since your birth.
Try not to think of you and of your sorrows;
But of the magnitude you may play in someone's tomorrow.
Yes, you are here to learn and grow!
Planting, loving, and sewing seeds as you go.
Lift your heart; let it be light,
For I carry your burden. I AM the light.

Motel Hell...o
We are the first house people come to when their car breaks down. This happens 5-6 times a year at LEAST. Last night, we had a couple throw a belt and Kirk tried for 6 hours to fix it with a belt we had "on hand". Or in other words, Kirk actually makes use out of his junk collection. This couple was young and they had a 9-week old baby. Money was tight and they were on their way back home to Ohio after his military service in California. We fed them the rest of our KFC and put them up for the night. It's a dang good thing we aren't twisted like the creepy people in Motel Hell...o.
Here's a monster I drew today for a guy in Page, Arizona. I thought I'd add it just because.

PRAYING for two hours?
Officially, I was not on the clock during this nap. It was a planned 15 minute "cat nap". Kind of embarrassing to have a co-worker snap a picture on their phone. I was out nearly two hours. I had to post this just because it made me laugh so hard. How did they not know I was praying? It was too dang hot to sleep in my car; I can sleep mostly anywhere. I must have inherited some military attributes from Grampa.
They must be slave-drivers here!

Finger Painting Fun
I think we've got a painter here.
Note to parents: this stuff washes off the patio nicely.
