This past week, I am a working single mom. Kirk is up North working on a couple of projects. It's been a good growing experience and to my surprise not as complicated as I thought it might be. I guess I'll just have to enjoy this time by myself (except occasionally for Waylon) and eat ALL OF THE PEACH COBBLER! Note the famous "dip" in the background. This is my favorite mother-in-laws infamous recipe. Sorry to all who didn't take up the offer of coming to "enjoy the fruits of the season". Neener Neener Nee.
Our friends from Australia, Chuck & Chris sent a parcel to Waylon (and there was a letter and some pictures for us), but they sent a cute t-shirt and a fuzzy Koala all the way from Sydney, Australia. What nice friends! Do you think he likes it?

Yum! It looks so good. A lot better than my last cooking experience. I've been craving pulled pork and peaches. So, I've planned for a potluck at lunch tomorrow. I've made it and it smells so good in my house. I love peaches too! Good luck with Waylan.
